Top 5 BAngin Shit Week #24 Hour Watching

So I'm off to play in the ocean and fall asleep in the sand. Sleep under a tent with my baby. Meditate looking at the stars. no phone. no computer. I be back to blog sum more next week. so note to all here is my horoscope (horo=hour/scope=watching) for you while I'm gone...

Ask yourself this... Who will I create for my mind or my being?

We spend so much time creating fantasies and daymares to feed the addition. To keep ourselves trapped in old cycles. Lets spend some of that time truly caring for ourselves. Without the distractions of outside forces.
(and if this is over your head note: Stay sincere and compassionate. end note.)
Bless

Saul Williams

"Have you ever lost yourself in a kiss? I mean pure psychedelic inebriation. Not just lustful petting but transcendental metamorphosis when you became aware that the greatness of this being was breathing into you. Licking the sides and corners of your mouth, like sealing a thousand fleshy envelopes filled with the essence of your passionate being and then opened by the same mouth and delivered back to you, over and over again - the first kiss of the rest of your life. A kiss that confirms that the universe is aligned, that the world's greatest resource is love, and maybe even that God is a woman. With or without a belief in God, all kisses are metaphors decipherable by allocations of time, circumstance, and understanding"
— Saul Williams (Said the Shotgun to the Head)

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

With all the planets generating our multidimensional experience retrograde and sitting at your nadir, you’re ascending like a rocket ship, without much control over the flight, and you’re being coerced to expand your personality in a very public way, as a way to express this higher awareness you’re being catapulted into. You’ve had to learn to let go in order to go forward at all, and it hasn’t been easy. This week Venus and Mercury, rulers of heart and mind, realign you with your higher purpose and begin a new chapter as they each enter new signs within days of each other. You’re going from the social awareness of how your new public efforts are affecting others to the very expansive understanding of how much support you have, from friends in the physical and beyond. Allow yourself the help. It feels good, doesn’t it?

The WATT electric bicycle

The WATT electric bicycle uses a battery and pedal power to speed through city streets. French designer Jerome Blanchard fit the bike with Drive Shaft Technology, which presumably sends power to the wheels when the biker pedals. There should even be enough spare energy created to power a GPS or phone through an attached USB port, and some gadgets could be compatible with trip information, such as speed, route and location. Meanwhile, an electromagnetic shock absorber keeps the ride smooth, an anti-lock brake system ensures safety, an a special direction access allows for tight handling.

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

Scorpio - We can get so boxed in by received ideas -- those concepts we swallowed years ago of what is good and what is bad, what we should or shouldn't do in order to be a good (or lovable) human being. Tuesday's solar eclipse in your 9th House of wisdom, philosophy, beliefs and the higher mind is like a bolt of lightning that shatters that box of beliefs and lets new air and light in. You don't have to listen to the voices in your soul this week, of course. But you might be curious to find out what some of the "little people" in your psyche have to say about the course you're on. Maybe those voices that tell you there's more to life than the narrow game you've been playing are on to something. You might ask your ego which parent it is trying to please or mollify with its analysis and control programs. You might ask yourself what could happen if you just up and decided to treat your life like a playful experiment for a while.

· 3 sweet yellow plantain (sliced into discs)
· 2 large carrots (diced)
· 2 large stalks of celery (diced)

A heart-wrenching testament to the integrity and solidarity of women in the face of staggering adversity. . . As evinced by their previous film Rosita (2006), humanist filmmakers Barbara Attie and Janet Goldwater demonstrate a nerve-shredding talent for cinematic juxtaposition-throughout, they intercut Goundo's legal nightmare with the lead-up to a mass female circumcision in Mali-that avoids feeling trivial.

--Village Voice, June 2009

Eye-opening look at a young Malian mother seeking asylum in the U.S. to protect her daughter from female genital cutting examines both sides of the issue without judgment or condescension by letting those closest to the subject matter do the talking.

--New York Magazine, June 2009

MRS. GOUNDO'S DAUGHTER is a co-production of Attie & Goldwater Productions, Inc. and the Independent Television Service (ITVS), with funding provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Additional funding for the film was made possible through the WOMEN'S WAY Community Women's Fund. For more information, visit www.attiegoldwater.com.

WOMEN'S WAY would like to thank the Penn Women's Center and the Special Projects Subcommittee of the WOMEN'S WAY Young Women's Initiative for their generous support of this event.

Road Tripin

SWEET! I'm on my way to bmore. I love a good road trip. To quote LRB the line up is bangin Shantnew,Latonya,LRB,and Super. WoW! I'm sure to be laughing non stop.

Oh! Majestic beauty!

I wrote this today during my last 5 draging minutes of work. Enjoy

If you are the flower I must be the sun: thoughts on beauty

How did your nature
become so exquisite?
Did you arrive in the beginning
blooming?
Did you pull yourself up from the murky water?
Re surface at the top
petals of life
Oh! Majestic beauty!
Will you cast your smile upon the earth
Let us rejoice
In our own reflections.

technique of going beyond consciousness

This is quote from the book I'm reading: VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA by Osho which means the technique of going beyond consciousness.
This is taken from the chapter: Ordinary Love and the Love of a Buddha.

"....thinking is time. If you do not think, there is no time. That is why in meditation you feel a timelessness. That is why in love you feel a timelessness. Love is not thinking, it a a cessation of thought. You are! When you are with your beloved, you are not thinking about love, you are not thinking at all. And if you are thinking, then you are not with your beloved, you are somewhere else. Thinking means absence from the now...you are not there.

That is why those who are too much obsessed with thinking cannot love, because even when they are there, even if they reach to the original divine source, even if they meet God, they will go on thinking about him and they will mess him completely. You can go on thinking about and about and about, but it is never the fact."

I think this is interesting. Why? I will say some other time. I am trying to say less and do more

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope Pt.2

(this is the one i needed to hear.)

I am reminded why you are so tough Scorpio. No one gets put through the ringer like you do with Pluto as our ruler. When the going gets good, there is nothing more potent and powerful. When the going gets rough, you hit the inner basement. Pluto and your younger brother Mars have been extremely stressfully aligned as of late forcing you to endure more than the usual. Much of this is the unfinished past attempting to be purged. Karma calls galore. Fun, fun, eh? However, without knowing the bottom, how can you truly appreciate the top?

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope (thanks heather)

Scorpio - One could describe the last six years of your life as a journey toward the realization that your emotional or psychological blocks can only be dissolved through creative play. Your innate strength, of course, lies in analysis. But while analysis is useful in manipulating people and situations and predicting the course of events and relationships, knowing exactly what happened and why it happened doesn't always do much for helping you feel better about your own emotional history. Sometime along about the middle of the week, a clear channel opens from your higher self and healing information starts to pour in. Here's your challenge: rather than spending your spare time thinking about this string of inspirations and fitting it into your mental spreadsheet, Play! Do something you loved to do as a child. Get out in nature. Ride a bike. Draw pictures. Be childlike. When you loosen your mental grip on life, then Life can come in and fill you up with goodness

HAPPY EARTH DAY

The Sutra

O Shiva, what is your reality?
What is this wonder-filled universe?
What constitutes seed?
Who centers the universal wheel?
What is this life beyond form pervading forms?
How may we enter it fully,
above space and time
names and descriptions?
Let my doubts be cleared!

Once again we can not help you. We hope you return soon from your superconscious.

We have a caller its Don Juan. Hi Don how are you?
Honestly, I have been loving myself. holding my self so tight I'm beginning to spin out into being.
Well Don Juan we don't understand a single word you said. A sad thing about us is that we cry in pain, hoping for some release from our prisons, and when our prayers are answered, we refuse to believe it.

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

You know you’re growing exponentially, but you’re hard pressed to describe exactly how. Resist the temptation to understand where you’re at, because in another few weeks it won’t matter much anyway. You’ve officially entered eclipse season, which boils down to 4 weeks of tremendous transformation. This first one of three, on Tuesday morning, occurs in your communication sector, providing you with an unprecedented opportunity to speak up and be counted. In order to make yourself heard you must stand firmly and squarely in your awareness of where you know you belong amongst your friends and business associates. You must know that you fit in, because if you still feel that you don’t, it will be so much more difficult to take your rightful place. The July 21st eclipse is set to change everything for you IF you’re able to stand up for yourself now.
