Yo so I been writing a bunch of love poems. I will post 10 of them one each day.
I will sell them as a book at my shows so stay in tune.

12:28pm

What a perfect set of harmonies. For me
To suck and offer. My tones of heart
As much as you can handle
Don't stuff yourself
Everything in moderation
At times. Lucky for you
I can storm
Rain roses at your feet
your heart. your mind
fertilize your wants
I could. Can
Just the idea satisfies me
Floods my heart red

PMS pizza, marijuana, and Satan

VICE: How did you get involved with PMS? Any sort of initiation process?
I’m one of the girls that started it, so I didn’t have to do anything other than a little germ burn, but these new girls are going through some shit. You have to meet all the guidelines before we even start initiation though. And not just any bitch on the street can team up with us.

What’re some of the requirements?
Well, first, you have to be all about pizza, marijuana, and Satan. If you’re not down with that, then you can get the fuck out. You can’t be in love. Love is kind of just baloney and for pussies. You have to have a killer bike to ride around on. Some guys are cool, but PMS is for the most part an anti-dude gang. There are other things, but it’s mostly just under our discretion as to whether a girl is PMS material or not. Sounds elitist, but fuck off.

So what’re you girls trying to accomplish with this?
Basically, the destruction of everything. We’re just kind of sick of all the shit people are throwing at us and so we’re going to stick it to them and stick it to their kids. So far, I think we’re doing a pretty good job. I guess you could say that the corruption of youth around here is one of our main goals. We hang out outside elementary schools and teach kids how to smoke cigarettes and tell them that they’ll be cool if they do. Then we hike up the prices and sell packs to them. It’s so easy. Little kids have fucking mashed potatoes for brains.

You’d probably say that there’s nothing inside a roll of camera film, or at least nothing unusual, because, come on, you wouldn’t expect for you to open one and find a surprise hidden there! But, you know how they say: expect the unexpected! You can never know what a roll of film is able to hide

According to sources at the club, someone aboard a Verizon-sponsored Keith Urban tour bus emptied the vehicle's septic tank outside [Webster Hall] at 3 a.m., after the show. CIA prisons

MIAMI (Reuters) - Health workers violated medical ethics when they helped interrogate terrorism suspects who were tortured at secret CIA prisons overseas, the International Committee of the Red Cross said.

The medical workers, thought to be doctors and psychologists, monitored prisoners while they were mistreated at CIA prisons and advised interrogators whether to continue, adjust or halt the abuse, the ICRC said in a report based on interviews with 14 prisoners in 2007.

One prisoner alleged that medical personnel monitored his blood oxygen levels while he was subjected to waterboarding, a simulated drowning designed to induce panic and widely considered to be torture, the ICRC said.

Other prisoners said that as they stood shackled with their arms chained above their heads, a doctor regularly measured the swelling in their legs and signaled when they should be allowed to sit down.

The ICRC interviewed 14 men who had been held in secret CIA prisons overseas before being sent to the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in 2006.

The 14 are considered by the United States to be "high-value" al Qaeda suspects who plotted or carried out mass murders, including the Sept. 11 attacks and the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings. They had been held by the CIA, most for more than three years, in extreme isolation and had not been allowed contact with each other when the ICRC interviewed them at Guantanamo in November 2007.

Two Shows One Night Review

First show Lillie Ruth Bussey was super dope! I got a sneak peek of some new material and it is 2X dope. She also hit me in the head with a remix version of "ghosts" one of my fave joints off of her cd. Fresh very fresh indeed I even got a chance to meet her mother and hear her sing and it was sweet! So then we pack up and head to the Mitten in West Philly to see Purple Rhinestone Eagle. They are on tour and graced the hood with some heavy jams. They are so hardcore I wish so many people could have peeped it. I wish I had my video camera. The Pit was wild just what I needed. I picked up a sweet t-shirt and 2cds. I met some really cool people and saw some old friends. One great night of music.

Moon in Cancer: All day

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth

One Leg Up Records recently announced that legendary duo Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth have some left over tracks from their Golden Era.

Recordings from the critically acclaimed and sound changing EP, All Souled Out, the predecessor to Rock & C.L.’s debut album, Mecca And The Soul Brother, have been dug up and put together on a new five track EP.

These tracks from the All Souled Out recording sessions were something of a myth, until a couple leaked onto WBLS’ "In Control" show almost 20 years ago. Now CL and DJ 4XL have hooked up to not only collect these lost tapes, but the tracks were restored to premium quality and sounds. The EP brings the sounds of the late 80’s meshing into the now famous early 90’s sound.

The limited EP, which will only be pressed for 200 copies, is titled Basement Demos. The price for history is not cheap either, as the collector’s item will set you back $80.00.

DJ Premier

DJ Premier, one of Hip Hop’s most coveted producers is having quite a busy year. Aside from starting his own label DJ Premier is also working on projects with rappers Blaq Poet, MC Eiht, and possibly KRS-One.

In a recent interview with Conspiracy Radio, DJ Premier spoke on his upcoming collaborations as well as the current status of Hip Hop.

“The level of the bar was so high that it was really hard to get into Hip Hop unless you really had top-notch skills, beats, rhyming, everything,” DJ Premier explained. “We wanna put that part [to the] forefront. So we’ll do it eventually. It’ll get its spot back, but in the meantime it never died or anything it’s just not as out there as the mainstream watered down rap stuff and that’s cool because it helps us reformat our audience that wants to support this style and the ones that don’t want to support it we’re not making it for them anyway.”

Among the four artists on DJ Premier’s new label, Year Round Records, is Blaq Poet former member of pioneering Queens Hip Hop group Screwball.

“We’re about to drop this album from Blaq Poet. Straight out of Queensbridge. We just shot the video. The album’s called The Blaqprint. That is the official album. I produced the entire album.” A tracklist posted on fansite djpremierblog.blogspot.com has reported that Easy Mo Bee and one other producer actually make contributions to Poet's solo debut, distributed through Fat Beats.

Aside from the artists already on his label, DJ Premier’s Year Round Records may also feature albums by KRS-One and MC Eiht.

“I’m thinking about doing a project with MC Eiht [of] Compton’s Most Wanted,” DJ Premier explained to Conspiracy Radio. “We talked about doing an album on my label, and also me and KRS-One talked about doing not Return Of The Boom Bap; we’re gonna do Return Of The Boom Bips. So right now that’s still a go. An all KRS, Premier album would be great.” Besides a "Criminal Minded" update in recent years, the two are best known for their work together between 1993 and 1995, on the self-titled and Return Of The Boom Bap albums. Compton's Most Wanted used Premier to remix their 1992 song "Def Wish II," a song originally have appeared on Music To Driveby.

Jadakiss interview

Jessie Maguire: How far are you into the LOX album?

Jadakiss: We’re trying to make it like an NWA album, no radio songs. Maybe one, if that. New LOX Order is the name of it. We’re probably like 6-7 songs deep. But you gotta get The Last Kiss album first, April 7th, then you get the D-Block compilation, then you get the new LOX album. But you can’t get none of them if you don’t get my album. If you don’t buy my album, they won’t even sell you the other two.

X Nausea

X upcoming "Total Request Live!" tour

X have announced updated dates for their upcoming "Total Request Live!" tour, where the band will be allowing fans to pick the set list for each show. Voting is open now on the X's TRL tour website. As you can see above, "The Have Nots" is currently the most requested song for the band's first of three NYC shows at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets are still on sale for all three: May 29, May 30, May 31, and the three day pass

My pick;

Digable Planets tour cancelled

In a bit of shuffling, Digable Planets have cancelled their tour with Common Market and Dujeous. According to a post at Hyena Records, "there were 'irreconcilable differences' in Digable Planet's camp, so they've pulled the plug on the entire tour." That includes the show that was supposed to happen at Highline Ballroom in NYC tonight, April 1st (no foolin).

DEAD PREZ NU JOINT

After working in the studio since February, DJ Green Lantern and Hip Hop duo dead prez are ready to release the third installment in their series Turn Off The Radio series.

Entitled Pulse Of The People, Green Lantern and dead prez’s collaborative project will consist of lyrics by Stic.man and M1 and beats produced entirely by Green Lantern.

According to Stic.man, Pulse Of The People is "presented in a format that reps the streets and what's happening in the hearts and minds of the people that don't get represented in the mainstream."

Released via Green Lantern's Invasion Music Group/Boss Up Inc, Pulse Of The People will feature appearances by Styles P, Bun B, K'Naan, Chuck D, and Johnny Polygon.

Pulse Of The People will be released on June 23.
