The beautifully extravagant 18 carat gold plated Pentax LX pictured above was released in 1981 to commemorate the 10 millionth sale of the standard LX SLR camera. 300 of these oddities were produced, each one delivered inside a wooden box, also containing a pair of silk gloves with which to handle it.
