Faces of Immigration
This picture, Watching the Developed World is part of the Immigration National Institute series Faces of Immigration.
This weekend I went to the MUAC and saw this inSite project that consists on documented interventions to the borderland between Tijuana and San Diego. Being Francis Alÿs and Carlos Amorales my favorites, there were also works by Kim Adams, Terry Allen, Gustavo Artigas, Andrea Fraser, Silvia Gruner, Javier Téllez, Judi Werthien y Yukinori Yanagi among others.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have free speech areas where the big wall has been built? Like Terry Allen said, where lovers can whisper sweet sayings, or read poems or just long and wave?
