Afro-Punk Festival July 3-8 in Brooklyn

I saw Pure Hell in Philly. I hung out with the bass player. Good Times.


The 5th annual Afro-Punk Festival, taking place July 3-8 in Brooklyn, NY, has just announced its line-up for this year's event. Plenty of bands will perform, and films will also be shown each night of the festival.

Two Shows One Night Review

First show Lillie Ruth Bussey was super dope! I got a sneak peek of some new material and it is 2X dope. She also hit me in the head with a remix version of "ghosts" one of my fave joints off of her cd. Fresh very fresh indeed I even got a chance to meet her mother and hear her sing and it was sweet! So then we pack up and head to the Mitten in West Philly to see Purple Rhinestone Eagle. They are on tour and graced the hood with some heavy jams. They are so hardcore I wish so many people could have peeped it. I wish I had my video camera. The Pit was wild just what I needed. I picked up a sweet t-shirt and 2cds. I met some really cool people and saw some old friends. One great night of music.

Just go back from D.C I went to the Panda Head Magazine Party@ Comet and saw my friends Lillie Ruth Bussey and Laughing Man Perform. AMAZING

Post ROCKERS! January Edition

The show was a blast everyone killed it. I love working with talented people. The crowd was very sexy everyone came out like fuck the cold, it was Fresh. We even had time for a 5th band a jazzy Elliot Levin. I know Photo Geoff Hall took some great photos I can't wait to see them. Stay in tune..... for the next ROCKERS!@TRITONE

The fucked up thing about ROCKERS! is that its during the week and bands don't want to play last. Everybody cries. At the end it all seems worth it. I feel the madness in the air I hope the cold doesn't stop it.
