musk ox

To perfect these images, I looked for the storm and the storm found me. Violence in the wind, blinding snow, cold which freezes everything. As an eraser which puts the landscape nude and wipes the extra out. You think that there will be nothing left, then your discover far off an unmoved and standing animal. Every squall becomes then a lesson of humility in front of these beings which defy elements.
( i love this quote from the Photographer)

The musk ox Ovibos Moschatus populates the circumpolar regions of Alaska and northern Canada, Greenland and Scandinavia, to Siberia.
